Mission: I am passionate about TRICO's mission because I enjoy  helping people. People can be capable to anything they put their minds to. They just need people to believe in them.  I find purpose in teaching not only job skills but also life skills after all that's what life is about.  Learning and growing finding a path just for you.

Professional Expertise: My goal has always been about nurturing and being supportive in any environment where individuals feel safe, valued, and empowered. I've been in this field for 20 years and have learned a lot from others along the way. I am proud to be a job coach and support staff.

Personal Touch: I grew up in Port Huron, MI, A tourist town influenced by Thomas Edison.  I'm more of a Nikola Tesla theorist myself. I have always gone against the grain. Who I am has been influenced by the universe, nature, certain people, animals, and music.  During childhood, I met a girl with Cystic fibrosis and summer camp. I also had a broken arm and wrist, limiting our groups activities.  We connected and a wonderful counselor championed her inclusion.  This instilled in my a profound respect for the challengers faced by individuals with disabilities. At 18 or 19, I worked as a cleaner on a cancer unit.  Interacting with patients and just brining them moments of laughter brought a sense of fullfilment, solidifying my desire to pursue a path in helping others. Life isn't always easy, but being a good person is.
